Bio

Cheryl Hawk has a BS, MS and PhD in metallurgical and materials engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. She pursued wide gap brazing of nickel superalloys and laser welding of additive manufactured stainless steels. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow continuing her interests in additive manufacturing and high energy density processes.
