Tushar Telmasre


Tushar Telmasre joined CWJCR as a PhD student in Fall 2019. He comes from India and earned a Master’s degree in Materials Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. His current work is related to exploring ways to join titanium and steel components. He has previously worked on modelling the solidification process of aluminum alloys as a part of his master’s program. He has experience with various modelling software such as COMSOL, ANSYS, Abaqus etc.

Prior to joining the PhD program, he gained industry experience as a process engineer in the steel industry for a year and as a data analyst in ‘Cognizant Technology Solutions’ for two years.
